What we process when you visit
Server logs. Our web server records technical data for each request, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type. We use this data to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors.
Your cookie choices. When you first visit, a consent banner asks which optional cookies you allow. Your choice is stored for 12 months in a cookie named cookieadmin_consent, together with a random identifier, so the banner does not appear on every page. Until you make a choice, the site sets no cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie icon shown on the site.
Analytics, only with your consent. We use Google Analytics, provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read most. Analytics cookies are set only after you allow them in the consent banner. The Google tag loads on every page with Google’s consent mode set to “denied” for all storage until you choose. In that state Google Analytics does not store or read cookies, but Google may receive limited, cookieless signals about the page view (consent mode). Google’s handling of this data is described in Google’s privacy policy.
No accounts, no forms. The site has no user accounts, newsletter or comment forms. If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you.
The business days calculator and the date tools run with the dates you enter; these values are part of the page address so the result can be shared. We do not store them in a separate database, but because they are part of the address they can appear in server logs and, if you consent to analytics, in Google Analytics page reports.
Why we process data
We process server logs because we have a legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website. We use analytics cookies only on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We do not sell personal data.
Service providers and transfers
The website and its email are hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in the European Union, which processes server data on our behalf. Google processes analytics data and may process it in the United States; Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The consent banner runs on our own website and stores your choice in your browser.
How long we keep data
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and error analysis. Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Emails are deleted when they are no longer needed to answer your question.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email us at the address above. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you think we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live.
